San Diego Opportunity Youth Collaborative

In San Diego there is no one sole organization dedicated to only supporting young people, there are many of us to continue supporting young people in San Diego at different capacities.

Youth Will as a countywide 501c3 serving organization considers youth under the age of 25 and created the San Diego OYC with the support of the San Diego Workforce Partnership in 2022.

Since then this collaborative has shifted to be primarily youth led. While the collaborative's main purpose is to support disconnected or at-risk youth to be reconnected to the education or workforce systems, we also encourage youth to show up for each other.

This is one of the ways we create intergenerational bridges with current leadership at youth serving organizations and youth who are seeking support or are engaging in advocacy work.

Goal: Reduce disconnection rates of youth in San Diego under 25 by 50% by 2033
