Access to menstrual health products is a barrier and economic burden for our communities, especially for low-income folks and people of color. The County of San Diego addresses the economic burden that disproportionately impacts low income folks and people of color when it comes to accessing menstrual health products. Having this access to menstrual health products will allow our communities to properly maintain menstrual hygiene, while not having to compromise paying for rent, food, and other basic necessities.
