Diana Frias
Youth Will LEAD Fellow
Diana (she/her) was born and raised in City Heights San Diego. She holds a B.A. in Political Science: Public Policy and B.A. in Ethnic Studies from UC San Diego. During her time at UCSD she was involved in retention and access efforts for first generation marginalized students in her positions as the Alumni Roots Intern at the Cross Cultural Center and Co-Chair of MEChA. She has a passion for community organizing and advocacy with experience in both grassroots organizations and local government. Through her involvements she has made strides for transportation justice through her involvement in the Youth Opportunity Pass and subsequent campaigns. Diana is committed to the fight for social justice and liberation, inspired by youth leaders advocating for change.
